simsconfessions:

I’m from the Midwest so I NEVER enable snow for my Sims. I just can’t put them through the horrible winters I deal with in real life.

That’s interesting, with me it’s the opposite that happens. I’m from Brazil and snow is extremely rare in my city(only report of snow here was in 1975) and summers here are hot as hell, so I tend to give my sims long winters with lots of snow and short summers. Although I find the idea of having long and cold winters rather frightening(but at the same time awesome) in real life.

Maxis did very well with placing Willow Creek(and possibly other TS4 official ‘hoods) in an alternate universe. I like the idea of not having a canon story for what will happen with my favourite premades after TS2(although I confess I was rather curious to see what they’d do with them). I mean they’d probably mess up the whole thing even more anyway.

Somewhere along the line, and completely NOT of my doing, ~evil burglar~ Gordon King’s everyday outfit went from a plaid shirt to a sassy, swishing kimono.

I’ve never had the heart to change it.

Wanna do neat rows of trees, cones, rocks, signs, whatever for your neighborhood, but click-click-clicking along dosn’t get you the result you want? LET ME HELP YOU.
1] Find the spot you are looking to decorate, and find the aquaduct in the catalog.
2] Place that bitch. Im centering it in between those two pieces of road, as its all centered back there.
3] Plop those mother fuckin’ trees or whatever yo’. Depending on the size and amount of object you want, you can do them just in between the arches, or in between the arches and on the columns, and it will all still be even.
-For added variety/realism, you can use different shades of trees, like these pine trees come in, as well as different sizes of trees.
4] DONE. You reticulated those splines like a pro. Go brag to all your friends now!

Reblogging because it’s a really good idea o.o

Thank you Nightracer <3

Resourceful!
